What is a dragon boat? It's a long, narrow canoe that seats 20 paddlers in 10 rows. It has a drummer at the front of the boat by the dragon's head and a steerperson who navigates the back of the boat.
This event is free and for members only. Please only RSVP with integrity. During this event, you will join a boating practice and then afterward learn more about joining a team!
Bring with you a water bottle, sunglasses and a hat. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting wet. The best materials are quick drying synthetics. Don't forget to apply water-proof sunscreen.
We'll meet at the marina at 9:30 in the grassy area near the bridge. Be ready to go - this is going…
